Building interfaith relationships through service.
Join the Interfaith Volunteer Network for an interfaith service day! Individuals and families from all faith backgrounds are invited to serve our community together as we make Thanksgiving cards for nursing home residents, senior citizens, and others in need in our community. Bring your creativity and compassion, and come ready to make a new friend from a different religion!
This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
Some basic supplies will be provided, but participants are invited to bring supplies to use during the event, including:
8.5x11 card stock (matte finish, not glossy)
Stickers
The final folded card sizes will be 4.25x5.5 inches, so avoid stickers with a dimension larger than 5.5 inches.
Markers
Some markers will be used to accent cards, while others will be used to write messages, so a variety of point sizes are ideal.
Scissors
Glue sticks
Your imagination!
