This time of year, as the days shorten, we often seem inclined toward silence, contemplation, and waiting. Join us for a panel discussion on the importance of silence and meditation in our faith traditions with the Hon. Annabelle Imber Tuck (Congregation B'nai Israel), Marcus Lowe (Madina Institute), the Rev. Susan Sims Smith (Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas), and Mike Mueller (Ecumenical Buddhist Society).
We will first gather at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church to discuss the importance of silence and meditation across faiths and then invite everyone to walk to the House of Prayer to practice silence.
This event is co-hosted by The Interfaith Center and the Arkansas House of Prayer and is open to all at no cost.
