Building interfaith relationships through service.
Join the Interfaith Volunteer Network for a service day at the Arkansas Foodbank. Individuals and families from all faith backgrounds are invited to serve our community together as we fight hunger and prepare food donations for our community. Come ready to serve and make a new friend from a different religion!
What to expect: Typical volunteer projects include preparing backpack kits for children in schools, making boxes filled with senior friendly food. Sorting, weighing, bagging, and boxing donated food items such as produce, breads, canned goods, packaged foods, and drinks. Some volunteers should be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30-40 pounds (flexible volunteer tasks available). Click here to review the Volunteer Handbook.
This event is free and open to the public. Must be 8 years old or older (children ages 8 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). Please wear closed toed shoes and plan to arrive 10 min early.
Spots are limited to 40 people. Sign up today!
